The Right Letter Shapes

Letters are shown in Andika — a font designed by SIL for early literacy, with the same single-storey 'a' and plain 'g' your child sees in their first readers.

Curriculum Alignment

Australian Curriculum v9.0 — English (Foundation). Every worksheet carries its content descriptor code: AC9EFLY05 or AC9EFLY06 (the Foundation English handwriting descriptors). The Numbers 0-10 chapter carries AC9MFN01 (Foundation Number).

How to Use

Print the pages you need (or the whole book). Work through the chapters in order — one worksheet a day, 4-5 days a week, lasts a full school year. 4 of the 8 chapters close with a mastery checklist, so you know when your child is ready to move on.

Works beautifully on tablets too — import into GoodNotes, Notability, or Xodo and trace with a stylus (though for handwriting we recommend printing: pencil-on-paper is where the skill is built).
