Your toddler cannot read a word yet - and this pack is built around that fact. Every single instruction is written for YOU to read out loud, printed in a "Read aloud" bar across the top of all 54 activity pages. You get the exact words to say, not a page of text your two-year-old will stare blankly at. One activity sits on each page with plenty of space around it, and nothing needs more than a chunky crayon.

PART 1 - WARM-UP WIGGLES (6 activities)

• Down lines, across lines, hills and humps, zig zags, circles and swirls, and a page of wiggly roads they choose the order of
• Chunky crayon "roads" with a green dot to start on and a red dot to stop at - the only rule in the whole pack
• These are the exact arm movements that turn into letters two or three years from now

Part 2 - Colours Everywhere (6)

• Two crayon-matching pages covering 8 colour words: red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, brown and pink
• Red or Blue? - 12 pictures to name and colour, two colours only to begin with
• 2 colour-by-SYMBOL pictures (a house and a fish). Symbols, not numbers - most 2 and 3 year olds cannot read numerals yet, but they can match a star in a heartbeat
• My Rainbow - six bands, each with a colour dot showing which crayon to reach for

Part 3 - Shape Friends (6)

• Meet the Circle, Square, Triangle and Rectangle - one big dashed shape to trace, three smaller ones, then a row to colour in
• Find the Circles - 5 circles hiding among shapes with corners
• Shapes Are Everywhere - match each shape to a real thing (ball, window, boat sail, door)

Part 4 - Counting 1 to 10 (8)

• The numerals 1 to 10 traced across five pages, each with exactly the right number of Australian animals to touch and count: 1 quokka, 2 numbats, 3 galahs, 4 possums, 5 echidnas, 6 dingoes, 7 emus, 8 pelicans, 9 sea turtles, 10 platypuses
• How Many? - count the pictures, then circle the number that says how many
• One for Each - real one-to-one correspondence: one leaf for every quokka, one biscuit on every plate
• My Five Fingers - count fingers, then trace around their actual hand on the page

Part 5 - Same, Different, Big and Small (5)

• Which Two Are the Same? and Which One Is Different? - four rows each
• Big and Small (6 pairs), Tall and Short (4 tower comparisons), and Small, Bigger, Biggest (4 rows of three)

Part 6 - Where Is It? (4)

• In and Out, On and Under, Up and Down - each with a draw-it-yourself box so they use the word, not just point at it
• Where Is Quokka? - in, on, under and next to, all on one four-panel page

Part 7 - Sorting and Patterns (5)

• Sort by Colour and Animals or Food - six cut-out pictures each, sorted into two boxes
• What Comes Next? and Shape Patterns - simple AB patterns (apple, star, apple, star...)
• A Longer Pattern - AAB patterns (leaf, leaf, flower) with a clap-the-rhythm tip, plus space to make their own

Part 8 - Me and My Animal Friends (5)

• Animal Match - koala, wombat, kookaburra and echidna
• Where Do They Live? - koala up a tree, sea turtle in the water, wombat in a burrow, galah in a nest
• My Body - 10 body parts to point to on themselves and on the page, with tick boxes
• Feelings Faces - happy, sad, cross and tired, with the mouths left for them to draw
• How Do I Feel Today? - tick a face and draw their own

Part 9 - Busy Hands (5)

• Snip Snip - one-snip lines with a "GROWN-UP HOLDS THIS SIDE" strip printed right on the page
• Cut the Wavy Road, and Cut and Paste: Feed the Animals
• Playdough Snakes - a mat to slip into a plastic sleeve and use again and again
• Dot Day - dot markers, a cotton bud, a fingertip or round stickers all work

• All About Me - you write down their exact words, funny answers and all
• My Hand and My Foot - traced and dated, the page you will still have in ten years
• My Best Drawing - blank space plus a line for what they tell you it is about
• Look What I Can Do! - a 16-skill list for the grown-up to tick and date. Watching, not testing

Print Tips

• Print single pages as you go rather than the whole file at once - toddlers do one page per sitting and that is plenty
• Slip a page into a plastic sleeve and use a whiteboard marker to make it reusable forever. Do this for the playdough mat especially
• Chunky crayons, chalk or a thick pencil are far easier for small hands than a normal sharp pencil
• Works on tablets too - import into GoodNotes, Notability or Xodo and draw with a stylus
